  • Sunday 20th January 2008 - Beech United Angels (0) Vs Copeland Colts Fillies (7) - CUP
  • Not much to report was a very fair game however for some reason only half the team seemed to have all their attention on the game leading to a 7-0 score by Copeland Colts Fillies

  • Sunday 13th January 2008 - Ockendon Rhinos (7) Vs Beech United Angels (2)
  • This was a friendly match so the Rhinos eventhough they are a nine a side team went down to 7 for us which we thank them for. The match was a good one and gave us a chance to try out new things which the girls had practiced on the day before at training. It was a very windy day and didnt really make much difference which way the ball was going it still got blown making it hard on both sides.
This match was the first proper match for D Adams as our new goal keeper and she did some tremendous saves all through the match . it was a very exciting game our first goal was scored by L Stevenson (first goal for this year) and our second goal was scored by J Kaguathi. All the girls played really well there was a few things that we need to pick up on at training next week but as a whole it was a very good game with the score ending at 7 -2 to Ockenden Rhinos

  • Sunday 9th December 2007 - Harold Hill (C) Vs Beech United Angels (C)
  • Cancelled - Harold Hill pulled out of the League.

  • Sunday 2nd December 2007 - Beech United Angels 0) Vs Copeland Colts (2)
  • Another good game against this team, girls played well considering the weather (absolute downpour). Not much to report couldnt fault the girls they had plenty of attempts at scoring just wasnt our day for the ball going in. Our aim to beat this team next time.

  • Sunday 25th November 2007 - Beech United Angels (0) Vs Ockendon Rhinos (8) (Friendly)
  • Todays match was a friendly, not alot to report morale was not good as we was a player down and only have 7 girls in total this ment putting one of our strikers in goal for the whole match. Today just wasnt our day the girls tried their best put in alot of shots and a heap load of saves . Concentration seemed to go adrift in the 2nd half which lead to an 8-0 win to Rhinos.

  • Sunday 18th November 2007 - Beech United Angels (4) Vs L.T.D Vixens (0) (Friendly)
  • This match was a friendly so rather than concentrating on winning the girls used the opportunity to try out their new tactics which they learnt in training the day before.
Although it was a friendly the girls were a bit uneasy as our last match with this team resulted in a 20-0 win to them. However regardless of this the girls found their confidence and went onto the pitch and staight into their new form of play.
Within minutes of the game starting the first goal was scored by S.Attew just as her Dad turned up to see his Daughters first ever goal (S.Attew new player) a great honor for him.
Tactics were played out and very soon another first goal was scored by L.Stevenson (another new player). A great defence was played out by L.Droy J.Kaguathi D Adams and A Sugrue. We swapped positions in the first half to allow 2 of our new players a turn up front. S.Killick was in goal (girls taking turns as we have no goal keeper), S Killick performed well and not a single goal was let in due to good saves and a good defence.
At half time the score was 2-0 to us and when we went back on S.killick came out of goal and went upfront with L.Droy and J Kaguathi. D.Adams (another new player) took her first ever time in goal and done us proud too as did all the girls she did well and saved whatever came her way, again this was also due to good saving and a good defence held by S.Attew A Sugrue and L Stevenson they kept up a good barrier.
Passes and ball control were carried out as per training good and it really paid off S.Killick scored our 3rd goal and finally J Kaguathi scored our final goal to take us to a 4-0 win.
LTD Vixens were a very good team to play and we thank them for a very enjoyable and team spirited game.
Once again im very proud of the girls and i thank them for listening during training

  • Sunday 18th November 2007 - Beech United Angels (P) Harold Hill (P) (Friendly)
  • Cancelled by Harold Hill - To be re-scheduled

  • Sunday 14th October 2007 - Copeland Colts Fillies (2) Vs Beech United Angels (1)
  • First game of the season played today against Copeland Fillies, very tense match as was introducing 3 new players. First half girls played extremely well no goals were scored but very good ball play, girls done everything covered in training. Everyone was passing and calling for the ball, an excellent goal was scored by S. Killick well into the second half, then just towards the end of the match copeland fillies took the match to 1-1. L.Droy and J.Kaguathi took turns in goal and saved loads. A Sugrue L Stevenson S Attew and D. Adams played blinding defence. Strikers L.Droy S. Killick and J.Kaguathi were on top form. The match was a cup one so had to play on landing up with Copeland Fillies taking the match to 2-1, they were a nice team to play against and as for my players im proud of every single one of them , well done girls .
