In conjunction with Essex County Council, Beech United has arranged to send 4 sets of kit to Tanzania so they can be put to use by the Tanzanian Football Association. A member of other local clubs also got involved as kids is Tanzania suffer greatly from under funding as the Tanzanian FA receives no money whasoever for equipment etc.
Chairman John Smith said "We are pleased to get involved int his project and it makes you realise how lucky our players are with regard to the equipment they receive".
As a club we are hoping to forge links with a local club in Tanzania and we have been promised that photographs will be sent to us showing the players wearing the kit.
